Before landing in the gilded, often chaotic world of fashion, I was an interiors consultant: I dealt with homes. Not with floor plans — with atmospheres. It was with Ittierre — the company behind labels such as D&G, Ferrè Milano, Galliano, Scervino and Just Cavalli — that I took my first steps inside the fashion system.
